Founded in January 2012, Lanarkshire's Gaelic Meetup is a grassroots voluntary group, run by learners of Gaelic, for learners of Scottish Gaelic and speakers of Scottish Gaelic!
You, our members, can post events, volunteer to help us, meet new Gaelic speakers and learners, learn about Gaelic related activities near you and help to develop the Scottish Gaelic language and increase awareness of Scottish Gaelic culture.
By joining our group, you will be contributing to the creation of our Local Community Gaelic Plan for Lanarkshire and its implementation. We will also offer advice on Gaelic learning and keep you abreast of opportunities to find out more about Gaelic culture and where to learn and speak Gaelic in your local area as well.
