The first round of consultation will help to paint a picture of the current state of Gaelic in Lanarkshire in detail and give an idea of where we would like to see the Gaelic by 2020. This 2020 vision approach is one which has been taken by public organisations when drafting their own plans. Once the two pictures have been painted, the stage will be set to think about how we get from the present to the future. This evidence will be used in planning the next stage.
Definition of Lanarkshire: South Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire and Glasgow.
